"Our Changing World"
-
Theme of 2023

The 'Colours of Humanity' Art Prize is an annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion event, in support of Justice Centre Hong Kong's work for displaced people. It is presented by Justice Centre Hong Kong, and hosted by the Goethe-Institut Hongkong.

The Art Prize recognises and rewards visionary submissions with three top prizes. Shortlisted works are displayed at an exhibition at the Goethe-Gallery and Black Box Studio. Alongside a programme of thought-provoking panels, an award night, and a charitable auction supporting Justice Centre's work, the 'Colours of Humanity' Art Prize sparks dialogue and reflection on the diversity that unites us.

This year's 'Colours of Humanity' Art Prize urges Hong Kong artists to delve into the theme 'Our Changing World'. They're invited to explore various aspects of global evolution: socially, culturally, technologically, and environmentally, and the way the affect people differently. The theme is broad, encouraging unique interpretations by artists and visitors.
